According to Wikipedia, Odin "is often accompanied by his animal companions and familiars – the wolves Geri and Freki and the ravens Huginn and Muninn, who bring him information from all over Midgard".
You could argue that if the question setter(s) had been referring to the ravens, they wound have asked "birds of which type." You could also argue about what Wikipedia means by "often". But ravens are undeniably part of the animal kingdom, and on balance I would suggest that "Ravens" should probably be accepted as a correct answer to this question.
